SG IQTrend Structure PRO — MT4 is designed for traders who want a cleaner way to understand where meaningful market turns are forming.
Instead of reacting to every small candle or temporary price fluctuation, the indicator looks for properly formed swing highs and swing lows and then checks whether the surrounding price movement is strong enough compared with current market volatility.
When a meaningful market bottom is confirmed, SG IQTrend Structure PRO marks the structural pivot as BUY.
When a meaningful market top is confirmed, it marks the structural pivot as SELL.
The goal is simple: reduce unnecessary chart noise and make important structural turning points easier to see.
STRUCTURAL PIVOTS
The default configuration uses 20 candles on the left side and 20 candles on the right side of a potential turning point.
This creates a deliberately selective structure model. Small local fluctuations are less likely to become signals, while larger and more clearly formed market swings receive priority.
VOLATILITY FILTER
A geometric pivot by itself is not enough.
SG IQTrend Structure PRO measures the surrounding price range and compares it with ATR market volatility.
By default, the structural movement must be greater than ATR(14) × 2.
This extra filter helps reject weak movements that may simply be normal market noise.
BUY SIGNAL
A BUY signal appears when a qualifying structural bottom has been confirmed and passes the volatility filter.
The marker is positioned at the actual pivot low so the trader can clearly see the structural point that produced the signal.
SELL SIGNAL
A SELL signal appears when a qualifying structural top has been confirmed and passes the same volatility test.
The marker is positioned at the actual pivot high.
STRUCTURAL DIRECTION
After a confirmed BUY structure, the indicator treats the active structural state as bullish.
After a confirmed SELL structure, the active structural state becomes bearish.
This provides an immediate visual reference for the latest confirmed macro-structure direction.
IMPORTANT — HOW CONFIRMATION WORKS
SG IQTrend Structure PRO uses confirmed pivots.
With the default Right Bars setting of 20, the indicator must receive 20 subsequent candles before it can confirm that an earlier candle was a genuine structural top or bottom.
After confirmation, the BUY or SELL marker is displayed on the original pivot candle where the turning point actually occurred.
This means the historical marker shows WHERE the structural pivot occurred — not that the signal was known at that earlier moment.
This behavior is intentional and is fundamental to confirmed pivot analysis.
Traders who want faster confirmation can reduce Right Bars. Traders who prefer stronger structural confirmation can increase it.

The indicator can notify the trader when a new qualifying structure is confirmed through:

• Sound Alert

• Email Alert
Live-bar or closed-bar alert behavior can also be selected from Inputs.

HOW IT WORKS
Understand the logic before you buy
1. FIND A POTENTIAL STRUCTURAL PIVOT
The indicator searches for a candle that can become a meaningful swing high or swing low.
With the default settings, the candidate is compared with 20 candles on its left side and must later survive confirmation from 20 candles on its right side.
2. WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION
A pivot is not accepted immediately.
Right Bars controls how many later candles are required before the structural turning point is confirmed.
The default value is 20.
3. CHECK MARKET VOLATILITY
After a pivot qualifies geometrically, SG IQTrend Structure PRO measures the local price range around it.
That movement is compared with ATR volatility.
The default requirement is:
Local structural range > ATR(14) × 2
If the movement is too small, the pivot is rejected as insufficient structure.
4. CREATE A BUY SIGNAL
When a confirmed swing low passes the volatility filter, the indicator creates a BUY structural signal.
The BUY marker is placed at the original pivot low.
5. CREATE A SELL SIGNAL
When a confirmed swing high passes the volatility filter, the indicator creates a SELL structural signal.
The SELL marker is placed at the original pivot high.
6. UPDATE STRUCTURAL DIRECTION
The most recently confirmed BUY changes the structural state to bullish.
The most recently confirmed SELL changes the structural state to bearish.
7. SEND ALERTS
When a new qualifying structure is confirmed, the indicator can send Popup, Sound, Push and Email notifications according to the selected Inputs.
IMPORTANT
Because the indicator uses confirmed pivots, a historical BUY or SELL marker is displayed on the candle where the pivot occurred, while the actual confirmation becomes available Right Bars candles later.
This is confirmed structural analysis and should not be interpreted as an earlier real-time signal.
